Recent checks in hotels revealed 26 people with criminal backgrounds, including 18 known for pickpocketing. The operation also scrutinized how hotels report guest information, leading to several hotel managers being reported for delays in data transmission. Additionally, measures restricting access to certain urban areas were issued for eight individuals. The police are also assessing immigration status for non-EU citizens and plan further checks in other accommodations. Authorities are closely monitoring tourist-heavy areas due to a recent influx of visitors.
