Operație spectaculoasă la Oradea: Intervenție de peste șapte ore pentru o tumoră agresivă

A complex surgical operation lasting over seven hours was performed on a 20-year-old patient with a rare aggressive tumor at Medicover Pelican Hospital in Oradea. The tumor, affecting the pelvis and hip joint, was removed and replaced with a custom 3D-printed titanium implant. The procedure aimed not only to treat the cancer but also to restore the patient's mobility. The meticulous planning involved high-precision imaging and collaboration with engineers in Germany to create the necessary surgical guides and implants. Dr. Adyb Adrian Khal led the operation, showcasing the hospital's expertise in orthopedic oncology and reconstructive surgery.
