The 'Sfântul Pantelimon' Emergency Clinical Hospital in Bucharest is the first public hospital in Romania to use the LumeSeal® laser platform for minimally invasive treatment of varicose veins and chronic venous insufficiency. The system, which includes SnakeBack® technology, allows for real-time monitoring during endovenous laser ablation procedures. Several procedures have already been performed using this advanced technology, which is covered by the National Health Insurance House for eligible patients. This development enhances access to modern treatment options for patients with chronic venous disease in the public healthcare system.
