ONU: Rusia respinge apelurile de încetare a focului în Ucraina

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov rejected calls for a ceasefire in Ukraine during a UN Security Council meeting, accusing Europe of seeking to resupply Ukraine's military. He emphasized Moscow's desire for a long-term peace agreement instead. Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba reiterated Ukraine's readiness for an immediate ceasefire, conditional on Russia's compliance. Ukraine is also open to partial ceasefires targeting energy facilities and grain exports, with support from most Security Council members. Despite expectations, President Volodymyr Zelensky did not attend the meeting but was scheduled to address the UN General Assembly later.
