OMV Petrom confirms it has enough crude oil to maintain refinery operations through August and most of September, ensuring adequate fuel supply. The company is assessing legislative changes regarding fuel market crisis measures. A final law is awaited from Parliament, which includes significant modifications such as retail margin caps and a new solidarity tax. OMV Petrom reported a net profit of 1.8 billion lei for the first half of the year, down 14% from the previous year, while investments rose to 3.7 billion lei, a 13% increase.
