OMV Petrom cumpără baterii pentru parcul solar Işalniţa / Va avea o capacitate de stocare de 40 MWh

OMV Petrom and Simtel Team have signed a contract for the design, procurement, and construction of a battery energy storage system at the Işalniţa solar park in Dolj County. The project is expected to be completed in about seven months and will have a storage capacity of 40 MWh and an installed capacity of 20 MW. This system aims to enhance energy flexibility and improve the integration of renewable energy sources. The Işalniţa park will have an installed capacity of approximately 89 MWp, generating around 130 GWh of renewable energy annually. OMV Petrom continues to strengthen its position in the electricity market with various renewable projects in Romania and Bulgaria.
