OMV Petrom achiziționează un sistem de stocare a energiei în baterii pentru parcul solar Ișalnița

OMV Petrom and Simtel Team have signed an EPC contract for a battery energy storage system at the Ișalnița solar park in Dolj County. This project marks OMV Petrom's first large-scale solar initiative. The battery system will have a capacity of 20 MW and store 40 MWh, enhancing renewable energy integration and grid stability. Construction is expected to be completed in about seven months. The Ișalnița park will have an installed capacity of approximately 89 MWp, generating around 130 GWh of renewable energy annually. OMV Petrom is expanding its electricity market presence with various renewable and energy storage projects in Romania and Bulgaria.
