Omar Hayssam va fi preluat de polițiștii de la Imigrări, după eliberare. El nu are drept de ședere în România
Omar Hayssam will be taken over by immigration police upon his release from prison, as he lacks Romanian citizenship and residency rights. The General Inspectorate for Immigration will assess his legal status following his conditional release, which was granted by the Ilfov Tribunal after serving part of a 24-year sentence. Hayssam has multiple convictions, including serious crimes such as kidnapping journalists and economic offenses. He previously escaped from Romania after a conditional release in 2006, claiming terminal illness, and was only returned in 2013.
