Omar Hayssam nu mai este păzit în spital. Curtea de Apel a anulat măsura. Ce urmează? • Newsweek România
Omar Hayssam is no longer under guard in the hospital following a decision by the Bucharest Court of Appeal. However, the procedures for his removal from Romania are ongoing, as stated by the General Inspectorate for Immigration. Hayssam was released conditionally on September 11 after serving over 24 years in prison for various convictions, including the kidnapping of Romanian journalists in Iraq. His public custody was initially imposed for 30 days, but due to health issues, he remained in a hospital under surveillance. The court annulled the custody measure, but the return decision remains in effect, with actions to remove him continuing based on his health status.
