Omar Hayssam, eliberat. Va părăsi țara sub escortă

Omar Hayssam was conditionally released from prison and taken into public custody for 30 days pending his removal from Romania. Due to health issues, he is currently hospitalized under surveillance. After his discharge, he will be transferred to an immigration center for further procedures. Hayssam was serving a 24-year sentence for terrorism related to the kidnapping of three Romanian journalists in 2005. His release was ordered by the Ilfov Tribunal and is final.
