Action, the international discount retailer for non-food products, is opening its second store in Râmnicu Vâlcea on August 13, marking its 23rd location in Romania. The retailer, which entered the Romanian market in February 2025, introduces 150 new products weekly, with 1,500 items priced under 5 Lei. Since its launch, Action has opened 22 stores across various Romanian cities and operates over 3,300 stores in 14 European countries. Its main competitors in Romania include Pepco, Kik, and Tedi.
