Olanda va interzice importurile de produse provenite din așezările israeliene ilegale

The Dutch government will ban the import and sale of products from illegal Israeli settlements starting September 22, as announced by Foreign Minister Tom Berendsen. This ban applies not only to imports but also to the direct sale of these products, with companies operating abroad required to comply. The Council of State raised concerns about the effective enforcement of the ban but did not object to its adoption. The Netherlands has advocated for a similar EU-wide ban, but it has not gained sufficient support among member states. Other countries like Belgium, Spain, and Ireland have already implemented similar measures. The Dutch government cites ongoing violations of international law by Israel as the reason for this action.
