The government has published a guide for prosumers to receive funding for energy storage batteries linked to photovoltaic panels. Prosumers can obtain up to 15,000 lei for installing these systems, with specific eligibility criteria and documentation required. The program aims to support renewable energy use and allows surplus energy to be fed back into the national grid. Applications will be opened later by the Environmental Fund Administration (AFM), and funding can cover up to 75% of project costs. The guide outlines the necessary conditions for both applicants and the batteries themselves, including capacity and compatibility requirements. Projects will be evaluated based on a point system, considering the applicant's contribution and battery capacity.
