Ochelarii Meta, interziși în „numeroase” cinematografe din cauza temerilor legate de piraterie
Numerous cinemas in the UK are restricting the use of Meta smart glasses due to privacy concerns and illegal film recording risks. This follows similar measures in pubs and theaters. Other countries like France and Germany are considering complete bans on these glasses, viewed as disguised cameras. The UK Cinema Association acknowledges the benefits of smart glasses for accessibility but emphasizes the need for privacy protection. Meta, which has sold around seven million pairs of smart glasses, agrees that filming movies without permission is unacceptable, while advocating for consistent application of usage rules.
