Romanian pensioners living abroad must submit a life certificate by September 30, 2026, to continue receiving their pensions. Failure to do so will result in suspension of payments. The certificate must be certified by a legal authority in the pensioner's country of residence and submitted twice a year. The CNPP provides bilingual forms and allows submission via mail, fax, or email. If the certificate is not submitted on time, pension payments will be suspended starting the following month, but can be resumed upon submission.
