Oana Țoiu: „Marea Neagră, în acest moment, este unul dintre cele mai riscante locuri pentru un navigator”
Oana Țoiu, interim Minister of Foreign Affairs, stated that the Black Sea is currently one of the most dangerous areas for navigation due to increased incidents and fatalities. She emphasized the need for a ceasefire to improve safety and facilitate grain trade, which is crucial for many countries. The ongoing tensions, particularly from Russia, hinder diplomatic efforts for peace. Romania is actively collaborating with the EU and NATO to enhance security in the region, including a trilateral partnership with Bulgaria and Turkey. Recent incidents involving commercial vessels highlight the urgent need for protective measures in the Black Sea.
