Oana Murariu: Legea ANI se întoarce în Parlament

Oana Murariu, USR deputy, stated that the ANI law will return to Parliament for modifications following the Constitutional Court's decision. She emphasized the possibility of presidential re-examination and highlighted the 30-day legislative intervention window. Murariu criticized the Constitutional Court's political influence and defended the right of Timișoara citizens to protest against the potential loss of their mayor, Dominic Fritz, due to a conflict of interest ruling. The ANI law, which addresses public officials' integrity, includes a controversial amendment that could retroactively affect Fritz's mandate, leading to anticipated local elections if enacted.
