Oamenii ar putea trăi 200 de ani | Studiu privind limita longevității
Future medicine may extend human lifespan to nearly 200 years by addressing aging factors, but DNA mutations remain a significant barrier. A Russian research team studied biological limits to longevity, revealing that even with perfect conditions, genetic degradation persists. Their mathematical model indicates that organs like the brain and heart are most affected by these mutations, while the liver shows greater regenerative capacity. The estimated median lifespan could reach between 146 and 194 years, significantly higher than the current average of 79. However, these findings are based on theoretical models and require further validation.
