O veste bună pentru oraşele din România. Piaţa obligaţiunilor municipale are un potenţial ridicat de creştere - ASF - Economica.net
The Romanian municipal bond market shows significant growth potential, with current local bonds valued at around two billion lei. Cosmin Păunescu from the ASF highlighted the limited market size and the need for increased investment. Municipal bonds offer flexible financing options for local authorities, allowing for longer maturities compared to traditional bank loans. The recent bond issuance by Alba Iulia, which was oversubscribed 2.5 times, reflects investor confidence despite global market tensions. This marks the seventh bond issuance by the city, with a total value of 30 million euros and a maturity date in September 2036.
