President Prabowo Subianto announced this during his annual address, citing the need to eliminate unproductive firms. He mentioned that nearly 300 companies have already been shut down, with a focus on retaining only those that add value to the population. The restructuring aims to save significant costs, with an annual target of 70 trillion rupiah in savings.
