O rută neașteptată pentru exporturile de cereale ale Moscovei. În septembrie, două treimi au trecut printr-o țară considerată o adversară a Rusiei

In September, Latvia emerged as a key transit country for Russian grain exports despite strained political relations. Approximately 431,700 tons of Russian cereals were transported through Latvia from July to October. Iran remained the largest buyer of Russian grains during this period, importing 1.716 million tons. Following disruptions in traditional export routes via the Azov and Black Seas, Russia redirected its grain shipments to Baltic ports, which accounted for 65% of exports in September. While Estonia banned Russian grain transit, other Baltic states proposed similar restrictions. Additionally, shipments through the Caspian Sea increased significantly, primarily destined for Iran.
