The Cociuba Mare municipality in Bihor has purchased a spa resort in Tinca for 2 million euros, aiming to boost local tourism. Mayor Mihai Sferle stated that the community has completed essential infrastructure and sees this investment as a strategic project. The resort, previously owned by a family in the USA, is known for its therapeutic mineral waters. Local residents support the investment, and plans for modernization are estimated at 15 million euros, with funding sought from European sources. Additionally, a recreational area by Lake Cărăsău is planned, with a budget of 6 million euros, to enhance tourism in the region.
