The modernization of the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) at CERN has progressed with the delivery of a key component for the future CMS detector. The TB2S structure will enhance the particle tracking system for the High-Luminosity LHC phase, increasing collision rates significantly. This upgrade aims to gather ten times more data by 2041, allowing deeper exploration of fundamental physics. The TB2S, made primarily of carbon fiber composites, is designed to minimize material interference with particle trajectories. Following assembly and testing in Europe, it has been installed at CERN, with further integration tests planned. The High-Luminosity LHC phase is expected to be a major scientific investment, enabling unprecedented studies of rare particles and phenomena.
