Apa Nova and the Bucharest City Hall have launched a new cooling gate in Sălăjan Square, operational daily from 10:00 to 22:00. This initiative includes several other cooling gates across the city, equipped with sensors and solar panels for energy efficiency. Additionally, 113 public fountains are available for hydration, and a network of climate shelters has been established to provide relief from extreme temperatures.
