A new recycling method called 'returning with the bag' is gaining popularity in Moldova, allowing users to receive refunds for returned packaging. A company in Iași processes over a million packages monthly through special containers in five cities. Users register via a free app and receive their refunds directly on their cards. The system has over 24,000 users who collectively return more than 35,000 bags of recyclable materials each month. Some retailers also accept bags, offering vouchers for returned items, while online platforms provide home collection services for packaging.
