O nouă legumă pentru români: castravetele mexican „Victor”. O stațiune de cercetare vinde răsaduri, din primăvară
The Mexican cucumber "Victor" is a new vegetable variety introduced in Romania, resembling a mini watermelon with a cucumber-like taste. Developed at the Buzău Research Station, it was officially registered in 2022. Seedlings will be available in spring 2027 for 2.5 lei each. This species, also known as "cucamelon," produces small green fruits with a crunchy texture. It thrives in warm conditions and requires specific care for successful cultivation. The fruits can be eaten fresh, in salads, or pickled, making them versatile for various culinary uses.
