The incident occurred in late 2022 when a car collided with a truck, resulting in the deaths of two passengers. The driver, charged with manslaughter and bodily harm, requested a delay, and the next hearing is set for October 7. Toxicology reports indicated the driver had a blood alcohol level above the legal limit at the time of the crash, and surveillance footage showed he was speeding.
