Danish group Eurowind has completed a 120 MWh battery energy storage system in Teiuș, Romania, alongside a solar park. The investment totals 21 million euros, funded partly by PNRR. This project aims to enhance energy network flexibility and resilience. Eurowind plans to install 1 GW of renewable energy capacity in Romania by 2030, with ongoing projects including a large solar park in Vișina. Currently, the company operates 184 MW of renewable energy and has additional projects in advanced stages. Eurowind is a key player in the renewable energy sector, focusing on various energy solutions across Europe and the US.
