PPC Renewables plans to establish a 60 MW/129 MWh battery near a wind farm in Dobrogea, pending authorization from ANRE. The project, funded partly by the Modernization Fund, is valued at 129.9 million lei. It will enhance the existing Zephyr 1 wind farm, which has 52 turbines totaling 120 MW. The initiative includes necessary infrastructure developments and aims to boost PPC's renewable energy capacity significantly by 2028.
