O misiune ambițioasă vrea să trimită aeroboți pentru a explora peșterile subterane de pe Titan
An ambitious project aims to send flying robots to explore the underground caves of Titan, Saturn's largest moon. Funded by NASA's NIAC program, the SPARK initiative seeks to develop a swarm of lightweight aerial robots capable of navigating Titan's subterranean environment. Titan features a dense atmosphere and unique liquid hydrocarbons on its surface, making it a potential candidate for hosting life. The project utilizes electrohydrodynamic propulsion, which is expected to be significantly more efficient on Titan than on Earth. Currently in the feasibility study phase, SPARK may collaborate with NASA's upcoming Dragonfly mission set for 2028.
