Justrite Romania, a factory in Galați, has been sold to the Italian investment company Newport & Co. The transaction was completed on October 1, 2026, as part of the sale of Justrite Italia by the American group Justrite Safety Group. The Galați factory specializes in producing industrial equipment for the safe storage and handling of hazardous substances. In 2025, Justrite Romania reported a turnover of 37.37 million lei but faced a loss of nearly 795,000 lei. Newport & Co. focuses on acquiring and developing businesses separated from larger groups, marking this as their third similar transaction.
