Discover-Tech, an Israeli digital advertising agency, has been accused of spying on internet users through a vast network of online ads, facilitating device hacking. Reports from Citizen Lab and Confiant reveal that the agency's ads, often promoting common products, appeared on over 120,000 websites and 75,000 apps, allowing user tracking and data extraction. The agency's practices pose systemic security threats, impacting various sectors and individuals globally. Discover-Tech's ads have reportedly targeted sensitive networks, including the Pentagon and international organizations, raising concerns about national security. Following these revelations, Google and IAB Europe have suspended Discover-Tech from their platforms due to policy violations.
