O firmă din China nu poate termina 8 km pe Autostrada București. Ponta voia să facă cu ei drumuri și reactoare • Newsweek România
The China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation is struggling to complete an 8 km section of the Bucharest highway, despite previous ambitions by former Prime Minister Victor Ponta to collaborate with Chinese firms on major infrastructure projects. Ponta had aimed to engage Chinese companies for highways, nuclear reactors, and hydroelectric plants, signing various agreements during his tenure. However, the current project has faced significant delays, with the contract signed in March 2023 and expected to be delayed by at least eight months. After leaving office, Ponta continued business dealings with Chinese firms, including receiving payments from Smithfield, a major pork producer owned by a Chinese conglomerate.
