Five students from Carol I High School in Plopeni, aged 15 to 18, have been detained in a case involving the alleged rape of a 17-year-old girl. Three suspects are accused of engaging in non-consensual sexual acts, while two others allegedly witnessed the incident. The case was reported to the police on September 25, following claims that the minor was subjected to psychological coercion in an abandoned building. Investigations led to six home searches and the detention of the five youths for 24 hours. One was placed in preventive arrest, two under house arrest, and two under judicial control. The General Directorate for Social Assistance and Child Protection is involved to ensure the minor's support and protection. The investigation continues to clarify all circumstances surrounding the case.
