On Thursday morning, drone alerts were issued in three Romanian counties: Botoșani, Suceava, and Tulcea. A drone that entered Romanian airspace was detected in Botoșani and later crashed near Solca in Suceava County. Authorities confirmed no damage or casualties occurred. Four military aircraft, including two F-16s and two F-18s, were deployed for monitoring. Additionally, an IAR-330 SOCAT helicopter was sent to the area. The drone had been flying for four minutes before crashing, and police and specialists secured the site, finding a small drone without fire. Alerts were also raised in Tulcea due to another drone group detected near the border, prompting further military response.
