O dronă a filmat cum o balenă cu cocoașă a născut

A drone captured a humpback whale giving birth off the coast of Australia, marking a world first. Photographer Alexander Forrest was documenting whale migration when he noticed unusual behavior from a whale. Upon sending his drone closer, he discovered a large blood spot and then witnessed the newborn whale surfacing for its first breath. This event is the first recorded whale birth filmed by a drone, as confirmed by ORRCA. Vanessa Pirotta from Macquarie University highlighted the rarity of this moment. Each year, around 50,000 humpback whales migrate along Australia's east coast, showcasing a successful conservation story after near extinction due to whaling.
