O dietă europeană, mai puțin cunoscută decât cea mediteraneeană, ar putea contribui la o viață mai lungă
The Nordic diet, based on traditional foods from Northern Europe, may promote longevity and reduce mortality risk, according to a new study. Researchers analyzed data from over 64,000 adults in Sweden, suggesting that adherence to this diet could significantly lower the risk of death over 24 years. The diet emphasizes plant-based foods, fatty fish, and local produce, differing from the Mediterranean diet. Findings indicate that those following a healthy Nordic diet had better health outcomes, including reduced liver fat and improved blood sugar control. However, more research is needed to fully understand its long-term health benefits.
