Current diesel prices are around 10.95-11.05 lei per liter, and a complete ban could lead to a price increase of 0.10-0.25 euros per liter across Europe. The US exports about 1.4-1.6 million barrels of diesel daily, which is about 5% of global demand. The AEI emphasizes the need for Romania to proactively manage its fuel supply and pricing strategies to mitigate economic impacts.
