Ford Otosan Romania is developing a photovoltaic park in Craiova, costing 36.45 million lei, with a capacity of 5.10 MW for self-consumption. The project includes 8.63 million lei from European funds and aims to reduce CO2 emissions by 3,385 tons annually. The initiative aligns with the company's sustainability goals, integrating renewable energy solutions into its operations. The Craiova plant also produces electric vehicles and has established a rail route to Turkey to lower emissions. Ford Otosan, founded in 1959, is jointly owned by Ford Motor Company and Koç Holding, employing over 20,000 people.
