Romanian cyclist Diana Faur won a bronze medal in the U15 short track event at the European Mountain Bike Championships. This achievement follows her previous success as the vice-champion in the XCO category last year. The gold medal was claimed by German athlete Sita Heiny, with Czech Pavlina Kejzlarova taking silver. In the boys' category, Bogdan Flus finished 33rd in the short track after qualifying 9th in the individual time trial. In the U17 category, Roland Szigyarto finished 7th, while Milan Bartha placed 16th. The U17 podium featured Belgian Tijl Vanhaverbeke, Czech Ondrej Bukovsky, and Swiss Aubin Favre.
