O "cârtiţă" de 1.800 de tone pentru metroul din Belgrad e blocată la graniţa României din cauza nivelului scăzut al Dunării

A tunnel boring machine for Belgrade's metro, manufactured in China, is stuck at the Romanian border due to low Danube water levels. Serbian Finance Minister Sinisa Mali expressed hope that construction of the metro line will be completed by the end of 2029, followed by inspections and tests. The TBM weighs 1,800 tons and is over 100 meters long. Work has also begun on a station near the Pancevo bridge, where a second TBM will be installed. The construction of the second metro line may start in 2028, with all lines totaling around 70 km expected to be completed in the next decade.
