The Ministry of Finance announced that from October 5 to November 6, 2026, Romanian citizens can invest in state bonds with maturities of one, three, and five years, offering annual interest rates of 6.50%, 7%, and 7.50%. The income from these investments is tax-exempt. Bonds can be purchased online through Ghișeul.ro or at Treasury units, and they are transferable and redeemable in advance.
