The Evangelical Fortified Church in Drăușeni, a significant historical monument, is set for restoration funded by the National Cultural Heritage Institute. The project, estimated at over 23.6 million lei, will begin within six months after budget allocation and last 36 months. Previous restoration attempts failed due to financial issues, leading to critical deterioration of the structure. The current plan focuses on careful restoration, including the demolition of the cultural center and infrastructure upgrades. Once completed, the church will serve its traditional religious role and become a vibrant community space for educational and cultural activities.
