Numărul proiectelor de investiţii străine directe anunţate în România a crescut cu 16% în 2025 (analiză) - Economica.net

Romania saw a 16% increase in announced foreign direct investment (FDI) projects in 2025, totaling 109, while Europe experienced a 7% decline. Job creation linked to FDI rose by 39%, reaching 5,710 positions. The majority of investments were in expansion projects, accounting for 55% of total FDI. The country is shifting from cost-efficient production to a hybrid model that includes business services and R&D. Investors prioritize market access and favorable tax conditions. However, there is a gap between investment intentions and actual projects, particularly in business services and R&D. The analysis suggests Romania should leverage its industrial base to enhance high-value functions rather than just low-cost production.
