Numărul pasagerilor transportați cu avionul a crescut cu 7,8%
In the second quarter of this year, air travel increased by 7.8% compared to the same period in 2025, reaching 7,730,600 passengers. The highest passenger traffic was recorded at Henri Coandă Airport in Bucharest, followed by Cluj-Napoca and Iași airports. The top international airports for passengers arriving in Romania included London Luton and Milan Bergamo. Italy, Germany, and the UK were the leading countries of origin for passengers. For departures, Italy and Germany also topped the list, with significant numbers traveling to various European destinations. Domestic flights were predominantly from Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca, and Timișoara airports.
