The number of millionaires in Moldova has increased by over 1,600 in one year, reaching 9,643 in 2025. The youngest millionaire is 16 years old, while the oldest is 88. Total declared earnings exceeded 32.8 billion lei, with men making up the majority. The main income sources were dividends and salaries. Additionally, many Moldovans took advantage of tax deductions, saving a total of 112.55 million lei. The option to direct 2% of income tax to non-profit organizations remains popular, with over 53,000 contributors in 2025.
