Numărul de copii pe care îi are o femeie ar putea influența ritmul îmbătrânirii. Ce au descoperit cercetătorii
A study in Finland suggests a link between the number of children a woman has and her biological aging rate. Women with no children or many children showed accelerated aging and higher mortality risk compared to those with two or three children. The research involved nearly 15,000 women and analyzed DNA methylation markers. Results indicated that women with an average number of children had the lowest biological aging levels. The study also noted that early childbirth was initially associated with faster aging, but this link weakened when considering other health factors. The findings do not imply that women should aim for a specific number of children, as they reflect historical conditions and not current ones.
