Novartis oprește mai multe studii clinice după decese în rândul pacienților

Novartis has temporarily halted eight clinical trials for an experimental therapy after three patient deaths linked to severe immune reactions. The therapy, known as CAR-T, modifies patients' immune cells to target and destroy cancer cells. The company is conducting a thorough safety analysis and collaborating with independent safety committees. Bristol-Myers Squibb has also suspended similar studies as a precautionary measure.
