The company aims to open 10 new stores, exploring partnerships with other retailers to share space. Locations under consideration include Iași, Cluj-Napoca, Craiova, Pitești, and Galați. Smaller store formats will offer a selection of products, with full ranges available online. The shift towards physical stores aims to complement the growing online sales, which currently account for 30% of total sales. IKEA is adapting its expansion strategy to be more agile and responsive to market opportunities.
