Interim Minister Dragoș Pîslaru announced a revised public salary project ensuring future increases without revenue cuts. He emphasized that any unsubstantiated salary hikes would be considered populist. The project was adjusted following discussions with unions and the European Commission, which raised concerns about fiscal sustainability. Pîslaru confirmed that no salaries would decrease and that over two-thirds of public sector salaries would see positive adjustments. He also addressed judicial salary issues, stating they were resolved through consultations with the Ministry of Justice.
